About The Treehouses

Our Treehouses nestle in 40 acres of rare semi-ancient woodland. One of the tributaries of the Beaulieu River, the Hartford Stream, rises on the heathland above Beaulieu and runs through these woods, connecting a series of ponds.

There is a self-guided Tremendous Tree Trail loop close to the Treehouses, and our Cob Cottage tucked away in a clearing close by.  The Treehouses ensure access to this very special place, which is home to a wide variety of species.

About The CET

The Countryside Education Trust (CET) was founded in 1975 with the objective of connecting people with the countryside.

We work with schools and the wider community, serving people from 0-92 (the age of our youngest Owlet to our oldest volunteer!), from two amazing sites, Home Farm and Hartford Wood.

In the past fifty years, we have enabled 250,000 people to discover more about the wonders of the English countryside.

Why We Do Weddings

We are all romantics at heart, and we are fortunate to be custodians of such a lovely wood – we want to share it with people who will also treasure it and make wonderful memories here.

As a small charity, we have to fundraise to develop our wide-ranging work, which includes free and subsidised school visits, internships for young people and rural skills training for the public. The money that we raise from your wedding will help more people to have these opportunities.
